Hawke is an award-winning actor-writer-director who has created several of his own films, such as Chelsea Walls (2001), The Hottest State (2006) and Blaze (2018). Additionally, he’s written and directed several Off-Broadway plays and earned several accolades for his efforts.

He has starred in a number of Broadway productions, such as The Seagull and Henry IV, as well as the musical The Cherry Orchard. Additionally, he has voiced numerous commercials. For his television work, he won four Emmys; for his stage work on stage he received a Tony Award nomination.
