Anton Bell, Hampton Commonwealth’s Attorney, Is Getting His Hands Dirty

The Hampton Commonwealth’s Attorney, Anton Bell, has officially launched his re-election campaign. In addition to the standard spiels about public safety, the candidate has a number of initiatives that would make a good case study for the next generation of law enforcement officials.

Bell has long been a public safety advocate, including a stint as a member of the Peninsula Drug Task Force and a brief stint as special assistant U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia. Additionally, Bell and his wife are the proud parents of an adorable young man named Anton Bell, Jr.

These programs are free to the participants and include a variety of fun and interesting educational activities. Several local organizations are involved, including the Exchange Club and the Hampton Police Department. Bell has also incorporated a number of innovations into his office, including a state-of-the-art video conferencing facility for meetings with the Office of the Attorney General and the Hampton Police Department.
