Alicia Keys Attends Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

The holiday season is in full swing in New York City, with plenty of celebrations taking place. One such event is the annual Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lighting ceremony. This year, NBC will air a two-hour special that brings out the holiday spirit and features an all-star cast of performers.

At the 90th annual Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony in New York on November 29, Alicia Keys donned a cropped black and white varsity jacket, glittery high-waist pants, diamond hoop earrings, and towering patent platform pumps to complete her ensemble.

If you’re looking to get into the holiday spirit, head over to Today plaza at Rockefeller Center for a free concert featuring Alicia Keys. She will perform selections from her latest album “Empire State of Mind,” as well as some classics.

She’ll start the show off with an upbeat rendition of her song, “Have a Little Faith,” and then perform “Empire State of Mind” in its entirety with Jay-Z. The video clip will include clips of both performers performing the song together as well as shots of New York’s skyline and TKTS pavilion at nighttime in Times Square.

Keys will be joined by several other musical acts, including Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton, Andrea Bocelli and the Rockettes who performed their own holiday tunes during the event. Furthermore, Jimmie Allen, Matteo Bocelli and Virginia Bocelli, David Foster and Katharine McPhee, Brett Eldredge Mickey Guyton Dan + Shay The Shindellas Louis York and more will also perform.

At the Rockefeller Center tree lighting ceremony on December 11th, attendees were treated to the breathtaking sight of a Norway spruce that had been shipped in from Queensbury, N.Y. and then lifted by crane to its home outside Rockefeller Center. The stunning tree will remain on display until mid-January according to NBC.

The annual Rockefeller Center tree lighting has become a beloved tradition for many in New York City. Attendees come from around the globe, helping everyone get into the holiday spirit and celebrate with festive spirit during this joyous occasion.

This year’s ceremony was hosted by Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb and Craig Melvin. Additionally, Access Hollywood’s Mario Lopez joined them to spread some holiday joy.
