Frank Gehry and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art

Frank Gehry’s designs for the Los Angeles County Museum of Art began in the 1960s. He designed the “Art Treasures of Japan” and “Assyrian Reliefs” exhibitions. He also worked on the “Billy Al Bengston Retrospective” exhibition in 1968, “Treasures of Tutankhamen” exhibition in 1978, and “Avant-Garde in Russia, 1910-1930” exhibition in 1980. He also designed the LA Philharmonic’s production of Don Giovanni.
