Carol Danvers and Thor share a fascinating comic book history. They were both part of the Avengers together and later fought alongside each other against Yon-Rogg in an emotionally charged story arc. But they weren’t the only characters in the series to share a bond. While their relationship is fictional, they were seen working together to protect Asgard. In the film, Thor even refers to Heimdall as his best friend, even though he’s not a real friend.

Although Thor has many friends, his most prominent are Steve and Rocket Raccoon. Thor mocks Steve for his beard. But despite their differences, the two share a brotherly bond. Thor teases Steve about his beard and Thor is proud of Steve’s ability to lift the Mjolnir. These relationships make Thor and Steve one of the most interesting and memorable characters of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Hulk and Thor are a complicated couple in Marvel comics. However, they have some commonalities. In The Avengers, Thor tries to stop Hulk’s rampage, and Thor understands Bruce Banner’s inner conflict. In Age of Ultron, Thor cracks jokes about Banner’s problems, and they even make fun of each other’s relationship with Black Widow. And their friendship has grown stronger and deeper with time.

The friendship between Thor, Hercules and the Avengers has been a long-standing one. Hercules first appeared in the Marvel Universe in 1965. Hercules was initially Thor’s enemy, but Thor rescues him from Pluto after he was tricked into ruling the Netherworld. During the years since, Thor has often aided Hercules in saving the world from destruction, and they become close. Hercules was given a bigger role in the Avengers movies as a result.

Avengers: Age of Ultron sees Thor team up with Daredevil, Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four. Thor also teams up the Thing and the Human Torch. Their closeness was even highlighted in Avengers: Age of Ultron where Thor throws his Hammer at Quicksilver and sends him flying off the catwalk. While Quicksilver is naive and unfit for a man of Thor’s caliber, the two men have a surprisingly deep friendship.
