9910 Tower Lane Beverly Hills
The Owner of 9910 Tower Lane in Beverly Hills, Calif., is a Mystery
About this property
A mysterious landowner in Benedict Canyon, an exclusive residential neighborhood filled with gated estates and Hollywood starlets, plans to construct an 85,000 square foot family compound on Tower Lane for over $12 million. He’s secured architects, intermediaries and a law firm to make his project happen.
The proposed development is an important milestone for the neighborhood, which boasts mansions that draw celebrities such as Bruce Springsteen, Jay Leno and Michael Ovitz. The 5.2-acre site has previously been the focus of controversy when the Sultan of Brunei attempted to construct a sprawling estate on nearby Tower Road. But residents rose up against him in court, ultimately defeating him in court after months of legal maneuvering.
Opponents have come together through emails, house gatherings and phone calls. They have amassed a list of 150 people who have signed a petition against the project and plan on doing a door-to-door campaign as well.
City documents identify the owner of the property as Mansour Fustok, a London resident and uncle to Prince Abdulaziz ibn Abdulaziz ibn al-Saud, one of King Abdullah’s sons. He serves as president of Tower Lane Properties Inc., which registered it and is overseen by an attorney at Rutter Hobbs & Davidoff Inc., a Century City law firm representing companies controlled by members of the Saudi royal family.
